Roof of my mouth feels scalded after i eat pineapple. Same happened w/choc-ban shake; whats the xonnection?

A lot of people get that reaction from pineapple or other fruits with a lor of citric acid. If you get that reaction from banana you might be allergic to latex. Have you ever broken out into hives after wearing gloves or even after sex if your partner wore a latex condom? U might have noticed the reaction from the banana in the shake because it could have been more condensed in syrup form. A lot of people dont realize bananas contain a natural latex. I get that reaction when I eat walnuts plain but not if they are in something. Makes the roof of my mouth hurt and my gums and tongue even swell slightly and I kinda feel like I've been flossing with barbed wire. And pineapple does that to me too. Only fresh pineapple though, not really the canned stuff. It will prolly only last a day or two. Feel better soon!
