Constant eye contact?

When I'm talking to someone or asking them something I always stare right in there eyes and I don't look away, it's just how I am. I've noticed recently, even with larger people and teachers that they seem to get really uncomfortable when they're talking to me, they fidget and constantly look away and at their feet. Sometimes they even turn away or start moving away and won't look at me. I don't mean to do that but I just started noticing this year when someone said something about it. Does this intimidate people or something? Do they just think I'm weird lol? I don't mean to do it it's just the way I am. To me I think people look away a lot when they talk to you. Human Nature?
